The days are moving slowly

The days are moving slowly. There is an extra rush with the work (just talking about my job) and Finland has once again entered lockdown mode. The Government has imposed more effective restrictions on use and the current situation will last until 24 January 2022. It is then considered whether there is a need to extend the strict restrictions or what the situation is. For individual citizens, this situation seems truly intolerable. In this case, I speak mainly for myself. It seems that everything is so uncertain or true that we cannot predict the future.

However, I feel that at least I am quite frustrated with the constant adjustment with the restrictions. Of course, safety must be considered, but consideration should also be given to the impact of restrictions on the functioning of society. Of course, we do not want to destroy our health care system, but what about small business owners and restaurant owners? I don't even want to imagine how difficult the situation is for them, I can only send a lot of encouragement, but how far it carries if you have debts on your neck and bills with a big pile on the table.

I try to maintain positivity and this blog is indeed a great way to do so. I love writing, it's exciting to take your mind off paper and analyze a little of whatever's going on inside your mind. In the last few days, besides work, I haven't done anything special. Mostly walked in nature and rested because I've felt sick. According to the test, there is no Covid19, but maybe some other flu or mental fatigue. I have cleaned closets at home and sold unnecessary stuff at an online flea market and given clothes to charity.

In the next blog post, I thought I'd tell you money savings tips for traveling, or maybe I just grab my backpack and travel for a little weekend get-out, which I'll tell you more about here (if Covid19 let me to do it) :)

Tähän väliin kirjoittelen lyhyet kuulumiset minimatkalta Viroon, vielä tuttavallisimmin pääkaupungista Tallinnasta. Monet meistä ovat käyneet kyseisessä kaupungissa enemmän kuin tarpeeksi. Onhan Tallinnaan monia risteilyreittejä päivittäin ja myös halpoja lentoja. Matkakumppanina oli poikaystävä ja päätettiin lähteä matkaan spontaanisti. Löydettiin edulliset risteilyliput laivayhtiö Eckerö Lineltä, 10 € per henkilö meno-paluu. Vietimme Tallinnassa koko perjantaipäivän kierrellen kaupungilla, museoissa, ravintoloissa, ostoksilla ja niin edes päin. Täytyy todeta, että oli erittäin kiva päivä eikä Tallinna koskaan petä nähtävyyksillään ja tunnelmallaan. Etenkin tunnetuin turistialue eli Vanha kaupunki on suosikkini juurikin historian vuoksi. Voisin viettää siellä kaiken aikani kierrellen nähtävyyksiä ja pieniä kahviloita sekä ravintoloita.  Reissumme aluksi käväisimme Sadamarketissa, joka on siis kauppahalli ihan sataman vieressä. Ocho Rios and Dunn's River Falls

Ocho Rios is a former fishing village on a wide bay that was developed for tourism in the mid-1980s. The frequent docking of cruise ships (sometimes three in a day) at the central pier that commands the town’s focus gives ‘Ochi’ a slightly ‘packaged’ feel, spiced up by the entreaties of ‘guides’ and souvenir sellers. Those water falls are called Dunn's River Falls and nowadays it is more like a tourist attraction in Ocho Rios area. Actually, I could describe it to be-be more like an amusement park which all kind of fun things for families. Spring time and dreams

                                       I decided to continue the story on this blog, which faithfully served me last time on my trip to the Caribbean in August 2018. The name has only changed a little. I'll be writing all kind of things during the spring / summer 2019. But topics are mainly focus on travel plans, health, money saving tips, the difficulty of working life, development cooperation, jobs at NGO field etc. Please feel free to suggest any other topics.  But the main goal is to give a support and encouragement to other young people (perhaps also to highly educated humanists who are internationally oriented) who struggle with the challenges of working life.
