Overall well-being comes from heart
I believe
that most of us can relate to this phrase. Mental health is one of the most
important part of our overall well-being. I have personally witnessed it many
times in my youth during the problems with self-esteem and melancholy. However,
it is very small sorrow compared to what really make people to feel depressed
f.ex. with suicidal thoughts. What drives us so deep in thoughts that we don't
feel like getting up?
I guess
that social media has been accused many times. There’s been discussion how
young people are depressed by the influence of social media because of the
constant competition and comparison. In recent years, there has also been an
intense debate around the world about how bullying has moved to the social
media and how anyone can criticize another anonymously.
In my
opinion, a healthy attitude especially with Instagram, helps to live with it. Media
cannot be avoided in any way. Even at workplaces, some know-how is highlighted
today, or else there will be no room for you if updating social media-tasks are
a bit too much to do. I also had bad moments when I was younger. I felt that I mostly
compared myself to other girls all the time. Nowadays, I am only laughing how
dumb I was, for example I asked these questions from myself: "Why is my
face so round?" "Why do I have pimples?". This kind of thoughts
are small if you think about a person who has f.ex. lost his/her family members
or get injured in an accident. Of course, nowadays I know how to relate things
and I don't want to complain too much. I don't choose my friends by their looks
and I don't want to criticize anyone. It is essential to educate yourself about
the well-being of internal affairs and mind.
Be more
present at this moment and “forget” to look at yourself too many times from mirror.
Everyone is beautiful when the soul smiles. I have witnessed it many times.
Enjoy lovely
& sunny days!
